The products of Okabe Mica Industry, made from natural mineral mica, are materials that combine thinness with excellent electrical insulation and heat resistance properties, making them suitable for electronic devices that require miniaturization, thinness, and high density. In recent years, as electronic devices have become increasingly complex, mica insulation materials are also required to have intricate shapes. Therefore, Okabe Mica Industry is advancing the development of new technologies for manufacturing custom mica molded products tailored to customer specifications. Generally, when it comes to molded products, there is an image that creating molds is necessary, and the prototype costs are very high. To address this, Okabe Mica Industry is exploring low-cost prototype molding using simple molds. This makes it possible to significantly reduce costs compared to prototypes made with traditional molds. Furthermore, it allows for the production of the final mold only after sufficient evaluation of the prototypes. Additionally, Okabe Mica Industry is continuously conducting research and development on the know-how of mica sheets suitable for such molding processes.
